For 12 years ARTSA-i has been receiving quarterly heavy vehicle registration data from the Austroads agency NEVDIS.  It covers the over 1 million heavy vehicles – prime movers, trailers, rigids, buses and special purpose vehicles.  Each vehicle has VIN data as well as many other details on manufacturer, location of registration and other data.

ARTSA-i Data Day is a chance to discuss this data and how it can be used to not only improve the understanding of the trends in this market but how it could be used to contribute to improved safety, environmental and efficiency outcomes.

    Its agenda includes:

    • ·       Overview of the data and its transformation
    • ·       Typical uses of the data – Tableau walkthrough
    • ·       Continuous improvement – recent changes
    • ·       Future plans
    • ·       Round table – what customers would like

The intention of the day is to improve understanding of the data, and its potential using the powerful tools from ARTSA-I’s Tableau on-line collection.
